The secret to the flavor begins with premium, slow-cooked black beans. We stir in a delicate blend of sweet vidalia and yellow onions, sautéed in extra-virgin olive oil, freshly crushed garlic and a savory mix of authentic Cuban spices. Simmered to perfection, we add sweet red pimentos, apple cider vinegar, a touch of vermouth, raw cane sugar and a pinch of sea salt. We think they are the best frijoles negros on either side of the Florida Straits!
